I'm grateful for the company to get a review like that in our major publication. It brings us visibility that we need. And I can't recall our opera chorus ever being praised for diction like that in a review; our chorus director will be proud.

You would think someone would have learned after the grisly mess made of Gigi. I woould like to know what's been done to the Brigadoon book.

Me too. When I saw the intimacy director, my first thought was "Ah, Brigadoon with sex scenes! That's what it's been missing all these years!"

I would guess the intimacy coordinators for Brigadoon would just be in charge of where the noses go in kissing scenes.

Great news about the Love Life recording - hoping the performance there is worthy. I wonder if NYC Encores will also be recorded? That would be crazy if there were 2 recordings out after 75 years of no recordings. Can't wait to see it next month in New York!

Bruce, good job searching until you found someone nice to talk to at the insurance company.  Whenever the milage is reduced the price goes down appropriately.  What an odd thing to say it might go up.  I would sure want to know how that could happen.

I may have mentioned, in years past, that gaggles of geese seem to prefer the pond behind my house -- and my side yard --  as courtship grounds every spring.

Of course, it isn't spring yet, but they are wildly at it already.  Such a fuss in the early morning hours.  I think this has been  one of the busy days, thus far.

Such a FUSS!!

We too have geese here, however, the Geese Dogs come and chase them away.

We shall see what happens.

Vibes you like him.

Yesterday I was taking a shower.  I just stepped out of it and picked up the towel when the doorbell rang followed by some knocks....repeated.

I finally got my sleep pants on and got to the door and it was two Mormon elders.  I didn't even let them speak - I just told them they got a 76 year old man out of the shower at risk of life and limb and they could just move on.

Good for you telling them off.  Fortunately that is not permitted here.

My doc recommended bloodwork. You know, check the oil. So I got the blood drawn at Quest. Labs were done. All reports good. Insurance bill comes for $729. Seems a bit much. I call Cindy at customer care back in my old home state of Delaware. She agrees that this is a bit off. The provider’s billing co messed up. So I received a nice new statement from insurance in the mail. For $729. I call and get Cindy again, believe it or not. She says, oh, this is just a statement to let you know it’s going to be adjusted still. Don’t worry. Why am I still worried?

Good luck your bill is adjusted correctly.

I am becoming more like Leonard every day. I growl when someone comes up the driveway, and then I hide.

Once when I was sitting on the couch, someone came up the driveway and Leonard alerted me. I grabbed the leopard-spotted Snuggy that was on the arm of the couch and pulled it over myself so he wouldn't see me if he peered in the window.

LOL :)

I have a sign on the door that says "Day sleeper. Please do not knock."

It works most of the time, but if they see me through the window, they knock.

Interesting.

My new doctor is very nice.  He is from Nigeria.  He looks like Wayne Brady from Let's Make A Deal.....

He also gave me a pneumonia vaccine shot since my last one was almost two years ago.

We shall how I feel as the afternoon goes on.

And then there was this:

Texas records first death from measles outbreak:
Quote
Feb. 25 (UPI) -- The first measles death in the United States in a decade was announced Wednesday in Texas as an outbreak in that state's panhandle spread to New Mexico and other portions of the country, health officials said.

The death was of an unvaccinated school-aged child in Lubbock, Texas, Zack Holbrooks, public health director of the South Plains Health District, said, according to USA Today. The child was hospitalized at the time of death.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it was the first measles death in the United States since 2015. So far, 124 people have been confirmed with the disease during the outbreak and 18 have been hospitalized.
