Is it still Firday?

It has never been Firday. Except in the pines, in the pines, where the sun never shines.

I slept very well after4 the mess the night before. I can't remember a single dream but "Indian Love Call" keeps running through my head. Not the famous "when I'm calling you-oo-oo-oo-oo" but the verse "When the long lagoon stirs in the spring . . ."

I love that part of the song, especially when sung by Julie Andrews and Giorgio Tozzi.

That's my favorite recording of Rose-Marie!

My favorite too.

Our leading lady is still sick, not feeling better, and petrified her voice will not make it through the weekend. Trying to find her a good ENT who can give her a shot of Cortisone today or tomorrow.

I thought she has a cold?  How would Cortisone help?

That sounds heavenly.  We have been trying to function on about three hours a night.

It doesn't matter what we have set to watch since we can't seem to stay awake for much of the shows.

Thanks to a discount coupon I got a shrimp cocktail and clam chowder from the Smokehouse. Shrimp cocktail is great, as always. Clam chowder is runny and awful-tasting. Whoever their day chef is should not be allowed to make it.

Oh no!  Does tonight's show have to go on in a situation like this?

DR George, did you receive an email from the Pierce Library?
"On April 28, 2025, the Library System will cancel holds that should not have shown as available. If you did place a hold on such a title, your account will show that the title is no longer available."

No.  I didn't get an e-mail like that. :-\ I wonder what title(s) it(they) could've been.

If you didn't get the email I suppose you don't have any of the titles.  I hope they do as promised and let me know which titles they remove.

Friday evening greetings!  Since I posted here last we’ve had a delightful trip to Wheaton, Illinois, to spend Easter weekend with our granddaughters and their parents.  We got home Monday evening and have been quite tired all week.
