Good, and sad, news from Romania.  Craig was allowed back into the country.  We weren’t sure since his Visa has expired (the reason he left for two nights to have his passport re-stamped).  Even better news Yogi is much improved. Thanks for those vibes. Craig and Ioana went to the vet and took him for a walk.  He was very happy and could have returned home with them except Ioana’s Godmother just passed away and Ioana has to return home.  Craig will follow the next morning, arriving in time for the funeral.  It will be best to keep Yogi in the care of the vet while he continues to recover.

The bad news is that my usual 40-minute commute took 2 hours and 20 minutes tonight

The good news is that I arrived unscathed and DH Richard had a lovely fried chicken dinner waiting for me.

Back from a very nice meal with Nick Redman - Chinese Chicken Salad and they came to the table with cake for birthday dessert - chocolate cookie dough with ice cream, a great dessert.

Surprise!

Happy, Happy, Happy (that’s 3 Happys) Birthday to our own very Dear BK on the occasion of his 58th Birthday!

Here is some cake:

And here are fireworks just for you!

And my quote from “Kritzer Time”:

“He was lucky to be alive.  Everyone had told him so—“

And we are lucky as well.  If it wasn’t for BK we wouldn’t have this wonderful board and the friendships that span the globe.

While I wish you every good wish and every success for every show, book and song you write, BK, I think your biggest and brightest achievement is bringing this group of people together.

Now, where are those ham chunks?  And who is going to teach me to dance the horta?  Let's get this Par-tay rolling!   ;) :D

If I believed that there really was white stuff called "snow" on the ground, I would tell everyone to drive safe and don't slide in the stuff.  But since I don't believe it since I've never seen it for myself, I have to still say to be careful on the roads, whatever that white stuff is.

I'm sorry to hear about Ioana's Grandmother, DR Jane.  Please pass along my condolances.

I am glad to hear that Yogi is doing much better.

I do believe the collective noun is "Huggle".

Dang, it was chilly at work today.

The register I was working was pretty close to the doors, which are automatic.  No matter that we have an anteroom, because both sets of doors were open at the same time surprisingly often.

BRRRRRRR!

I would have posted earlier, but, believe it or not, I've been working on writing a paper. It's due tomorrow, so it seemed like a good idea to start on it some time today.

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BK!!!! May your day be filled with Cherry Coke.

LOL.  At least living in Sunny LA the snow was a relatively short drive away.  Sometimes we would go on a day outing.  We never had the proper clothes though and I would always get sick.

From what I've read, Kate Moss does NOT call it snow and won't allow it to reach the ground!! ;) ;D
