And as for Christmas, Holiday, Channukah, etc. cards...
When I wish someone "Merry Christmas", I'm not wishing them a "Happy Anniversary of Jesus' Birth Day"... I'm simply wishing them a "Hope You Have A Wonderful Time During The Final Weeks Of The Year"... or something like that.

I do buy both Christmas and Holiday cards... But I base most of my decisions on the card design and not necessarily the sentiment inscribed in it.
"Merry Christmas" is the tradition I grew up with. And that's the tradition I wish to keep. And if I do happen to offend someone by sending them a "Christmas" card, I would hope that they would take a second to consider that just the fact that I sent them a card - any card - is a sign that I am thinking about them this time of year.
...Of course, the past couple of years, I've meant to send out boxes of cards, but only end up getting a few, if any, in the mail.
