Vixmom - Really, the performance itself was just a performance of the show as it always is (Howard McGillin was phenomenal as always, but then he was just as great when I saw him at a typical performance a while back), except the crowd was wild and over-the-top in reactions, in a good, celebratory way. Then there was a little vignette where one of the cats from CATS handed off a ring (as in the PHANTOM plot) to McGillin. They brought on lots of people who have played the lead roles and they all performed "Masquerade" together. Lots of beautiful speeches and standing ovations. But all of the stuff that happened after the actual show itself seemed to be being filmed by lots of "official" cameras, so I suspect it will all be available on TV or DVD and such.
