Good morning, all! I had another night of strange dreams, something involving performance and music but it' all too vague now.
I did not watch the Dubya's speech last night; he and his crew are taling the term white supremacy to new heights, I detest their policies from the patriot act to the war in the Middle East, I'm unhappy over Alito's confirmation, and I feel that I and many others on this site are sitting ducks for one of this current regime's policies to find an excuse to lock us away or terminate us. I know I'm being a bit melodramatic here, but this is a crew of evil personnel under the control of worse examples of humanity.
So, instead of listening to rationales for all the current evils in politics, I worked on various and sundry items: The Golden Apple vocal book, Toyland, a chart for Ron Raines. I have to finish my taxes, but I do detest giving my money to pay for a bunch of policies I neither support nor respect. End of soapbox.
I saw JUNEBUG last autumn, and I liked it. My goddaughter's godmother is in it, and I liked the cast a lot. I found it a peculiar film, didn't understand the value of the artist's orgasmic work in anyone's collection, but there were moments in the family dynamics I both cringed and laughed over.
This morning I have a follow-up on my colonoscopy, then an afternoon at the NYPL Music and Theatre Collection.
TOD: I currently have no questions and no answers.
