Dinner guests - my mother, aunt, mother-in-law, and niece - just left.  We did, indeed, have a fine time and received a phone call from my sister that she and her husband arrived safely home in Michigan.  DH Richard and I have leftover fried chicken to eat during the Super Bowl tomorrow.

I'm back from seeing HOODWINKED with Charlotte.  DR MBarnum saw it several weeks ago, and liked it.  I loved it.  The script is funny, the songs are funny, the musical arrangements are funny.  I hope there's a soundtrack.  I think I iked the goat's banjo song the best, but the yodeling schnitzel song was also very entertaining.

I suppose I shall now be on my way to the theater, after which I shall return with bells on.  Of course, I'll have to stop at the five and dime to buy the bells, but return with bells on I shall.

JRand she is still blasting out of my computer.  I should leave the CD out for Keith to put in the juke box-maybe tomorrow.

We are just completing the final touches on the new kitchen, cleaning up from our little flood last month and finding people to repair the damage.  And we are now in the planning stages of remodeling our guest bathroom.

I had forgotten to mention we made a whirlwind trip to Portland, drove a mattress up to Bryan in a 10’ rental truck and returned with kitchen bar stools.

My favorite song is THE WAYWARD WIND   .  I still find JAMES HOLD THE LADDER great fun to listen to.

Jed have you begun your new job?  Can you now answer Dakota’s library question?

While I was rushing to leave the house today I smashed my knee.  I need to move around and stretch it.  Good night.

Ooh!  someone needs a copy of the Scottish play! ;D

YES!!!  I could.... my VCR ate my copy of Gielgud's version of the Scottish play....

I have always loved Shakespeare....

Interestingly, Matt Ashford's character, Jack, back in the glory days qouted heavily from the bard.

One of hte funniest Shakespeare references was When Jack Deveraux had to explain Hippolyta, queen of the fairies and who Puck was to Emilio Ramirez. Emilio wanted to shoe Jennifer that he had some class and he wanted to take her to the Shakespeare in the Park presentation of  A Midsummer's Night's Dream. Emilio was not the brightest hoe in the shed.  Emilio took to calling Hippolyta a Hippopotamus.

IN the same episode, it showed Jack at the show spying on Emilio and JEnnifer and you could hear Matt in the background playing Puck....

I didn't hate Swan Lake. Partly because the music did not blast me out of my seat. I have never seen the traditional Swan Lake, so I don't know how much the story was changed. It was interesting. I now do the "swan exit" every time I leave a room.
