One I didn't expect to see on there: Joseph Losey's THE SLEEPING TIGER

THE SCAR is a sharp little Joan Bennett/Paul Henreid movie.

Can't say I blame him... AOL is not a good outfit up here either....

I've scarcely heard anything good about AOL. Anywhere.

MBarnum, I don't like them packaging TV episodes on there and calling them movies, although it is still a bargain package, no doubt.

Good Evening!

Well... I don't seem to have any problems with AOL.

And have I also mentioned that my 1993 Ford Escort actually gets better gas mileage now than when it was new - averages 40 mpg on the highway!

Thank You, Ford!

Thank You, AOL!

BK - One "workaround" for AOL is to start Safari first, and then start AOL.  Sometimes there is a conflict with the internet protocol  when AOL starts by itself - and that happens on PCs too.

Well, my dinner was very good.

My laundry is currently in the dryer, and I shall deal with the dry clothes in the morning.

My long, hot shower was restorative.

And I'm currently having a cup of chamomile tea.

Aaaahhh...

:)

And now if every single car alarm on the block would stop going off every time a snow plow or salt truck drives by, then I....

Ah... Chamomile tea...

I'm jealous.  I have a '98 Escort and I only get 32-34 mph at the most.  Does this mean that my gas milage will improve??  That would be nice. :)

I have a Chevy Prizm that gets around 40 mpg....

Will never own a FORD again... I had a bad experience with  Tempo and I was not impressed especially when it had to have 4000 in repairs in less than three months.

Might I just say I HATE STUPID SCUM-SUCKING BUTT CHEEK AOL!  AOL is RIDICULOUS and I have HAD IT.  I do believe a New Year's resolution will be to rid myself of the amateur, hideous, creepy, inept AOL.  I've had it since I've been on the computer, for nine years or so.  I've kept it just for e-mail, really.  But, I'm about to send out mass e-mails with new e-mail addresses, because I just cannot stand it any longer.

Time to keep the New Years resolution maybe??

Enough ranting, it ain't getting any better...time for action!!

I'm working on it, dear reader Ann, I'm working on it.

Thanks to Dakota Celt I have just spent the last two hours in nostalgia heaven on the Cinema Treasures site - looking and reading about all my childhood movie theaters.  Amazing site!
