MACARONI AND CHEESE

Well, you've read the notes, the notes have exhausted you, you have exhausted the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the exhausted cows come home.

I think a Parent-Hetic is one that does not believe in the sayings of parents - "You'll go blind" etc.

A quiet beginning here, it seems.

Good Morning all. Danise is safely at the hospital we assume, since it's 7:25am.

No questions yet.

Good morning, all!  I had a pleasant evening out last night, and today I have to work on my NYCGMC dance arrangement.  I have to step out again tonight for a rehearsal with the Chorus in the Village, so I'm going to putter around the house all morning.  When I get bored with the Dance Number, I can take the eMac to Toyland and do some writing.

Dear Freidn BK, do you know Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich?  They are the writing team responsible for "Taylor the Latte Boy." They occasionally perform with Susan Egan, and I've become quite enamored of their work.  They might be an intertesting addition to your list of performers.

Good morning, fellow Dear Readers. I am just about to head out the door. Perhaps I shall have some lovely photos to share when I get home.

Good morning all.

A question that was posed at dinner last night... what would you do with the money if you were the single winner of a the $365 million powerball?

Re: last night's Olympics.  It will be interesting tomorrow, since many of them are very close.  I did like Sasha the best.  But I thought the Russian was quite good.  The thing I liked best about her was how effortless it seemed. Although why did she wear pants? It just didn't look right.  My favorite thing about Sasha was her great flexibility.

I also quite enjoyed the 2 Japonese, although not sure which i liked better. And Emily hughes was good, although to me she came across as very young and not as artistic as the top women.

And as for American Idol, it was an interesting show last night.

.
.
.

My favorites are Paris, lisa, kelly and katherine.

I also like stevie (the opera girl) although i didn't care for her last night.

I really dislike brenna (?) or whatever the name is of the loud obnoxious girl.

And the other blonde (who the judges hated) seemed really nice.

I know MattH and the judges enjoyed Mandissa (sp?) but I just don't think she has the personality that the judges claim she has. She's okay to me. But i don't see her going as far as they think she will.

It will be interesting to see who goes first because popularity is huge. And i think that girl who proclaimed she had not been featured on the show will be in big trouble.

RETIRE and move to Manhattan.

Speaking of retiring, one of my favorite co-workers is doing just that tomorrow  :'( and today we're having a covered dish lunch in her honor.  My crockpot is full to the brim with my specialty baked beans.  All I have to do is get it from my kitchen to my workplace without spilling.

I would stop working, buy an apartment in New York, move Anthony's car into the city, give some money to my siblings and some other causes, perhaps start a small foundation, get a place in Dublin and London (and open bank accounts there so I could come and go as I please), travel more and enjoy my life. I would make sure I do not fall victim to the many travails that seem to happen to winners of large jackpots.

Ah Wednesday.

I love all the people on DR MICHAEL S' list - but if it means anything, I would go to a Carole Cook cabaret in a NY Minute....if I won the Powerball...but I think she's great!

And of course, don't forget Yvette!

My first question for ASK BK day - what song in a musical film and/or stage, even though it fits perfectly  - would you give to a character in a different musical - and it might not work at all.

I mean wouldn't it be great (and this is an idea from William Goldman although he was being funny) - if there had been a big restaurant on the island in the South Pacific and suddenly in the middle of the second act, Nellie had gone there and she had been there before and all the waiters loved her and there was a big number called "Hello, Nellie!"....

Good suggestions all -

Have no idea if those folks would do it for the money we have.  Also, if they're not based here there's no money to get them here.  Finally, they have to have a two-act evening - and I'm not sure any of those folks do, but I'll check.

This question gives me a headache - I shall ponder.

A trip to France across the seas
A motor boat and some water skis
And maybe even a foreign car
A charge account at the corner bar
Not to mention a Scrabble board with letters made of gold
