When I got in, I finished the DVD of MAKING LOVE which I begun last night before prime time TV started. Just as bittersweet as it always was.

The only info Amazon.com gives on this one about the picture is that it's NTSC.

Is it widescreen anamorphic?

I've always loved "Pinky," too ever since seeing it in person many years ago.

I give up?  What does this mean?

I think DRMATTH means that he viewed the painting referenced in DR SWW's earlier post.

And what a Birthday surprise. What did I receive in the mail today, but an LP record, courtesy one MBarnum.
A rather mint-looking copy of Liz Damon's Orient Express. Looks super-cool.

On White Whale records, a label that had precisely one successful band. Anyone know who?

Yes, DRRODZINSKI, the sun enters Aries today and it is the start of a new astrological calendar.

You have good patterns in your health and employment houses and the only caveat right now is to be guarded against a tendancy to overspend.

No.  -Which is actually one of the "joys" of being a keyboard player in the "big time".  The keyboard(s) and programming are supplied and done by the production company.  I just have to bring myself to the theatre each night and that's it - no instrument case to lug on the subway.

It's that groovy beat
Gets in my feet

Makes me wanna holler
Makes me wanna shout

Makes me wanna get my groove on.

Matt came by and we ran the scene three times, each time getting better and more comfortable.  I'm about ninety percent line-correct now.  There are just three speeches where I'm having trouble connecting the dots from one line to another.  However, by the end of our rehearsal they were starting to make sense to me, so I'm hoping to have everything down by the time we rehearse tomorrow.  It's really a fun character to play,  I must say.

Side topic:
Record labels that had only one successful band. For instance:

Fantasy

Like White Whale, Fantasy milked its one act (CCR), fought with them creatively, and then engaged in legal battles with them, where the bands lost control of their own music.

Guilty Pleasure:

"Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band"

Years ago, I used to have the album "Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band Meets King Pennett," but I sold it with a whole bunch of vinyl albums that I thought I wouldn't want anymore.  WHAT WAS I THINKING?????  Anyway, I remember that there were a couple of songs on that album that I liked, but I don't remember what they were. :-\ The real problem is that everytime I check eBay, nothing looks familiar.

Check Amazon.com....there's a "Best of..." album there that might have some of the songs you remember/miss.
