Cillaliz - sounds like you're giving Perry Mason a run for his money. Congrats!

TOD - I got out of the habit of wearing perfume when I lived in Boulder. Everyone is very allergy conscious there. And if you went to some public function wearing even a touch of cologne, people would look at you as if you'd walked in smoking a big fat Cuban cigar.
My favorite scent before my Boulder years was Nina Ricci's L'air du Temps. And the bottles were so pretty, too. I still have some and wear it once in a while. These days I prefer to wear scented body creams - the latest is a papaya scent which is lovely and fresh.
BUT - the TOD is a good one for me, as I've been looking around for a new perfume - have been "auditioning" scents. Haven't settled on one yet. Don't like overly sweet floral scents. You can only try a couple at a time, so it's a long process to find "the One"...

I'm up, I'm up, after a fitful night of sleep.  When I went to bed my allergies were really bothering me, and I discovered that my throat suddenly felt really scratchy.  I don't sleep well when that's the case, and this morning my throat is fairly sore - so, maybe I've come down with something, or maybe it's just the allergies but it feels like the former rather than the latter even though I'd rather it felt like the latter than the former.

Pogue: My pal Jim Brewer suggested I just show up at the Gardenia, but the one thing I didn't want to do was make it in any way uncomfortable for the singer.

Michael York is coming to Indy in CAMELOT in February....I think we may have to get tickets for this.  It is Molly's favorite show....and it IS Michael York....from LOGAN'S RUN and CABARET and FRANKENSTEIN THE TRUE STORY (I think he was in that!).

Also in "Taming of the Shrew", "The Guru", "Justine" and "Murder on the Orient Express."

Such a wonderful word of the day and yet, no one can have any fun with it.  Oh, well.

I awoke at 5:45 a.m. and knew I would not be able to sleep one minute longer.

Another "recurring" dream last night...over and over...in variations but always, ultimately, the same.

Not one iota of crinkum-crankum to challenge my sleeping mind.

Chopped liver...that's what I am.

Speaking of words of the day, remember when the word of the day was "Spore" and it seemed to be in honor of Heather Spore, the wonderfully memorable Taura/Miss July (the guys in my office still talk about her) in LAST STARFIGHTER?  Heather has been in WICKED on Broadway for a while, and I just saw that she mentions LAST STARFIGHTER as the second item in her bio, right after THE FANTASTICKS.  I know that LAST STARFIGHTER has been mentioned in bios ranging far and wide from off-Bway to Paper Mill to Two River to Trump Plaza Theater Atlantic City, but it's the first time LAST STARFIGHTER has been mentioned in an actual Broadway bio.   Skip's used to it with his past shows, but we were both pleased to see the "placement" we got from Heather.

And Romeo and Juliet.

I do not know what the WOD means, I am frazzled.

Congrats to DR CILLA LIZ on her judiciary acumen.

Wow...what about a Lego house WITH Crown Molding?

What about Crown Molding for your Car?  Your doghouse?  Your yard?

Think of the possibilities.

I know what you mean, DR FJL....oftentimes I am mentioned in the bios on Broadway....but it's just as "friends" or "everyone I have worked with" or even "others...."

There's that famous accounting firm Dewey Crankum and Howe.

Or maybe the law firm Milkum Bilkum and Takem could be renamed Milkum Crinkum and Takem.

Goddam post office!  I needed to mail a priority package today with confirmation and the entire post office is filled with the twits who waited until today to mail their tax returns:  the line for a clerk is out the door, the line at the automated teller looked like a 30-minute wait.  Why the hell don't the postal authorities assign at least one window for non-IRS business?  So now I have to wait until Thursday to mail this  sucker.

Color me pissed.  Again!

Must be like the day I had to mail a package to an EBAY buyer - and I chose the day the postal rates changed...   :P

Although I didn't win the trial, the judge sent an email to my boss saying my cross examination of the print expert was the best he had ever heard and that it should be saved and used as a resource for people needed to do a cross of a print expert.

WOW!  That is great!  You knew you were good, but to have the judge confirm it in writing....CONGRATULATIONS!

As in "Et Tu, Ya BRUT?"

And while I'm bitching, what the hell is with the Doublemint ads running on tv now with a chorus line of some of the ugliest trolls I've ever seen on television.  They should all have bridges built over them.

See the difference Easy Crown Molding makes? Apply the molding, and your windows have curtains and the bed is made!

JRand I will want details on Michael York.

Elmore I would have thought the NY post office would have one of those new automated mailing machines.
