Good morning, all!  I never sleep when I am about to travel, and I've been awake since around 5 am.  So, at 5:52, I figured it was eight minutes before the alarm would begin ringing, and I got up.  I have to meet my colleague Tom Murray at the recording office by 8:00 am.

See you all on Thursday!

I am back at work after quite the weekend and day off.

I mentioned what happened earlier so I won't repeat myself.

I did think that on Monday morning I would be back at work. I woke up early (not by choice or because I was in pain) and headed out to the office. I was sitting in front of the computer eating some breakfast and reading e-mails, etc. I suddenly realized that if I stayed at the office for the entire day at some point I would collapse. So, since I just live half a block from the office, I went back home. Anthony was very glad to see me. Even though he didn't tell me not to go to work on Monday I know he thought I should not do it. Well, he was right. Over the weekend I had been taking Flex-o-Ril, a muscle relaxer and Vicodin. I took the last pills on Sunday afternoon but I think the residue was still in me because on Monday I was still tired and groggy. Enough so that I took the day off. My first sick day in 6 years. I'm still a bit sore but nothing like Saturday. The doctor said that soreness was to be expected and it would eventually go away.

Since I was out for a day I have lots of work on my desk so I will be in and out as the day progresses.

One of Debra Paginate's better roles was as Collate in LES MISERABLES.

Hello!  I have been E & T as I have been spring cleaning and stove shopping and eventually stove purschasing on my four day weekend.  I have read all the notes but have not yet caught up on the posts so I am off to it!

Good morning!

The perfect spring day. Slightly chilly morning warming to near 70 by afternoon. I have the windows open and the cool fresh air is sensational.

I haven't latched on to a listing of the songs being sung tonight on AMERICAN IDOL. If anyone stumbles across one, please post it. Thanks.

Tonight also features the return of one of my favorite silly sitcoms - LESS THAN PERFECT. ABC renewed it last season and then has kept it off the air all season until tonight. Chances for another season seem nil at this point, but I'm going to enjoy it while it's on.

Eric Roberts (as a egocentric anchorman) has left the show which should stir up the status quo enough to make these new episodes interesting.

Of course, I'll have to record it as I'll likely be watching HOUSE at that time.

Speaking of HOUSE, I agree with others yesterday that the show has gotten better this season. His three doctor-colleagues do not take his word on things and stand up to him much more increasing the drama more. Cameron's silly crush on him seems over, and that was a wise idea. I understand Cuddy and House may have some "quiet time" coming up.

The Criterion sale DVDs which were shipped last Tuesday still have not arrived. I know DeepDiscount uses Media Mail for the free shipments, but this is VERY slow.

Matt H, and anyone else who likes to know these things ahead of time "I understand Cuddy and House may have some "quiet time" coming up."

Why do you want to know what will, or might, happen?  I go to great lengths to avoid reading information like that.

I had a somewhat poor night's sleep, although the last few hours of it were okay.

Abused words:  Love.

Smart (i.e. The movie was smart - the musical is smart - the lyrics were smart)

I don't necessarily like spoilers. I read an interview with the actress who plays Cuddy. And I did say "MAY." Actors on those shows know they can't reveal plot developments without suffering consequences.
