I'll need to go in tomorrow to pay some invoices, then I can also see if there's any snail mail that I need to deal with. I've been checking me work e-mails, so that's covered.

I also remember a fragment of a dream about the house where I grew up at 3003 Goldman Ave.

Tomorrow I need to call City Vet and authorize Judy to make any charges on the credit card on file if there are any cat emergencies.

I think we've had only two or three really nice perfectly summery Memorial Days in the past couple of decades in these parts. They're often cool, sometimes rainy, and very occasionally hotter than blazes. I specifically remember 2011 as being the latter.

At least we're supposed to stay dry. Oddly, and a day late. we jump up to nearly 80 degrees on the Fahrenheit scale for a few days starting tomorrow.

I don't berate either actor. I enjoy them when I'm watching one of their movies, but they aren't two people for whom I can say oh yes I have favorite movies, or that I can't wait to run out to see their next one.

And I should watch Face/Off. I've seen it all of once, years ago, on a crappy TV, so I don't even have a good feel for it. I do remember being intrigued by it.

I thought of this because I am back from Staples, and the idiots do mot fill up the photocopiers in the morning. As a result, the 11x17 paper ran out during my copying and there was only one clerk too busy taking care of others to bother with refilling the machine. I left in disgust.

Never been there to listen to that myself, but since you first mentioned this, I always think of y'all when I'm driving through Mariemont.

I'm glad that they made it legal as it was getting upsetting watching my neighbors have people over, while I only visited on my driveway.

So your neighbors were breaking the law? I am glad you are able to spend more time with your nieces.

Thank you. Eventually we will drive there, likely drive vs fly. Once there we would have to stay in a hotel. They don't have a yard & we don't really want to be inside with them. Unless we can hold her and play with her there really isn't any point in going. I just pray things don't get worse once Chicago reopens. It is bad enough there right now.

Under lockdown it's difficult to know whether a store will be crowded or not. It wasn't, really, but there was a long line to get in. I bought gluten-free bagels. I didn't like them at first; they don't taste anything like REAL bagels. They're not bad. You just have to put the taste of real bagels out of your mind and appreciate them for what they are.

It would make a nice little gift. I hadn't heard of them either but figured out what it was. One does not wear a necklace at home while holding a baby, at least I wouldn't.
