I've been home from physical therapy and market for over two hours, but my cable service - TV, internet, and phone - has been down until now.
I really love Gurjeet, my therapist. Just as I still credit BK for giving my career a huge boost in 1994, I credit Gurjeet for saving my life in 2013 and getting me limber and walking upright again. He's a wonderful therapist with a fine group of colleagues who seemed glad to see me. He and I discussed my symptoms, and he believes, after several different exercises, that the problem is my left knee. He believes the cartilage is worn out, that there may be arthritis problems, and the stress on my lower leg bone is causing all the problems of pain and mobility. He suggested a knee X-ray and an orthopedist for a knee injection. He also thought that I might need a new pair of sturdy shoes.
So, today I got a deep heat massage followed by an ultrasound massage, and then a really painful thigh massage to work out all the tightened muscles above my knee during which I thought I would scream from the pain. I now have a couple of exercises to work on at home but at the moment every part of my left side is screaming in pain.
