We had a rain and windstorm in the backyard.....in the front yard not so much.

It was most interesting.

I am also of the thought that MR BK should not make a visit to the wrong house of desserts.

There was really not much else they could do but bring it into the house....no one to call and report it to.....

And there are a LOT of crazy folks about......

Just so you know:

Saturn, the ruler of karma, is heading into its retrograde cycle today, and will spend the next few months helping you sort out your destiny. The past, present, and future are all entangled now, calling past decisions into question and making you wonder about current and future ones as well.

Depending on your past reactions, you might be sitting pretty as far as karma is concerned. If you’ve made your share of mistakes, you might have some apologizing to do. Actions like these are all part of the natural cycle of things, and Saturn retrograde helps you not only to keep track of the score, but also set the record straight.

Do the DoorDash deliveries have the intended recipient’s address on them?

Either way, I think DoorDash should confront the other people.....with a bill for the goods. :)

Starting to watch The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone. It's very much of its time. I doubt that a movie about a woman made today would have a male narrator, unless that becomes part of the story later.

Also interesting, when the narrator announces that an area of Rose was know for its assignations, the first image shown is of two men getting together.

:o

And now, I must get out of bed and get ready to go to my parents' house.

Be back later.

Finishing up Roman Spring. It's interesting that Jean Marsh of Upstairs, Downstairs has a nonspeaking part as a girl that Warren Beatty's character keeps flirting with.

It really needed a good, firm editor. I think part of the problem was that Ayckbourn both wrote and directed.

BTW, BK was almost too kind when writing about how bad Warren Beatty's Italian accent is. It's more Spanish and yet more bad than anything.

The pasta sauce turned out quite nicely.  The cats are being impossible.  All three refuse to eat the dinner I gave them.

Well, I just received my first food delivery, and I think I may cancel further ones  What I got were packaged meals for the next three days: nine plastic trays containing three breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, primarily salads and fruit - an apple for lunch, an orange fpor dinner - although the breakfasts also included small packs of Lays potato chips!  According to the label, I received the "C' package, so I wonder what A and B got?

Interesting.  Might they be handy after your surgery as a compliment to food from your freezer?

With the bird, I can't bring a cat into the house. But I like the neighbors' cats. And the ferals.

It's warm out there. I went to Lowe's to look for some paint to redo an old chest of drawers and a saw. The paint selections were so drab they depressed me. But I bought the saw.

That’s nice of you to want to paint the saw, too, DR John G., but it really probably doesn’t need it.

It might have helped with the little trees I had to cut down.

too hot out there for the yard work. I'll take it up again tomorrow after work. My yard work bin is full anyway and tomorrow is pickup day.
