Jane,
It wasn't just a particular vet at the place I didn't like. It was the way they treated Callie, didn't listen to me about what would freak her out and the general attitude. I think they were a little rough with her. it wasn't long after that we discovered the bones in her pelvis had compressed even more and she wasn't going to be able to make it. While it may not have been their fault, I've always felt that if they had listened to me about how to handle her and not been like they were, she may have lived longer. I may not be right about that but it's not something I can shake and I need to go visit the first vet I had and see if they will take me back.
I had problems with their care too, but they do a lot of work in saving animals that are rescued and I've started to think that what I thought was using the wrong enema, may have been the only thing they could do to try to keep her alive. It worked. She lived another 12 years after that.
