The only person who touched me was my namesake and she was double masked, gloved and gowned

Great, especially the double mask.  They are too close for this one.  Did they give you a second mask to wear?

No they didn’t, but my mask is 4 layers with a replaceable filter layer as well , as a 5th layer.  It fits snugly under my chin and up to the bridge of my nose

We watched the new version of Little Women tonight. I enjoyed it more the second time. Mom, however, was very confused by all of the time shifts in the story.

Keith, not knowing the story, had trouble following  it so we turned it off.  I was tired of explaining everything to him and didn't care if we watched anymore.

We parked at Safeway and went for a walk through the old cemetery down the road.  There are newer graves there as well.  We like to browse cemeteries.  Today we saw a marker we have never seen anywhere before.  Instead of the birth year and birth death it showed the exact time of birth and the exact time of death, about 3 minutes apart :(

Oh how sad

It was.

Guess I'll have to cool it down a little.  Maybe I'll go take a little while while I do that, then I can shut it off when I get back and it will be cooler.  Is that a cool idea?

Keith found a less sad but interesting marker the sparked the genealogist in him.  The couple had names that fit our daughter in-laws family tree.

It's too darn hot.

It was only 99 here.   We were home from our 2nd walk before it was that hot.  Our morning cemetery walk was mostly in the shade and there was a nice breeze, same in the afternoon.

Eighty-four outside and eighty-two inside.

It is currently 81 outside and I am guessing 74 inside.

Is that I walk you will take or a drive?  Either way enjoy it.

Ended up taking a drive to Rite-Aid and since I have an unopened pack of Claritin-D I got some Mucinex-D, which will help remove some of the crud and phlegm that's been plaguing me.  Also, got a small bag of crunchy Cheetos for a snack, which I'm snacking on now.

To my great surprise Safeway had Germ-X sanitizer.  The smell of Germ-X doesn't make me sick like other sanitizers do, plus it doesn't irritate my hands as much.  I normally buy the 40oz size and was about to reorder it when the shit hit the fan.  Since then I only saw it sold for expectorant prices online so we have been purchasing other brands.

Now I understand why we have a nationwide coin shortage. Never mine what the Federal Reserve says, it's because DRs TCB and Kevin have been hoarding it all in their piggy banks!!

And TCB, I may take you up on your offer.

I am already looking for something to put them in for you.

For the first time in week I woke up with a migraine.  Keith has a headache.  We are wondering if it is a coincidence or the fact our carbon monoxide/gas detector went off this morning.

Fortunately Keith is talking to him since I can't hear much through the mask.

Jane, you're supposed to wear the mask over your mouth and nose...not your ears!

JUBILEE is Cole Porter’s best score and sparkles even more brilliantly in Elmore’s orchestrations.

Agreed!!

So a few days ago I went to the supermarket (Giant) with the intention of cashing in my coins in the Coinstar machine.  Well, there was an electronic sign saying it was out of order.   A day or two later I was going to the post office.  There's a Safeway a few stores down, so I decided to bring my coins there.  I went in Safeway --that Coinstar was also out of order.   Yesterday I was back at Giant and looked to see if the machine was working.  Now the sign said that it was full.   Today when I returned my DVD I checked out the Coinstar and it appears to be working, but rather than get my coins from the trunk of my car, I decided to wait till the supermarket is less crowded.    That's my exciting story for today.

My credit union has a coin counter in its lobby and if you have your coins counted, then bring the receipt to the teller and have the amount deposited into your account, there is no fee.  But if you're just someone off the street and want the cash, there's a fee.  I don't know how much, though.
