I had remembered it as a comedy, which it most certainly is not, and I remembered that the mystery is begun when Lily Tomlin's character tries to hire Art Carney's PI to retrieve her cat. Carney is quite wonderful, as is Bill Macy as a piece of LA lowlife. Much as I love Tomlin, who's wonderful, her chattery character drove me crazy; I kept wanting to yell STFU! at her.I watched it again a few years back. I, too, had misremembered it as a comedy. And while I found Tomlin’s character irritating, I think that was the way she was directed. And written.

TOD: I remember seeing protestors outside showings of "The Passion of the Christ" many years ago (late 1980's?)
DR Jane-you mentioned your friend Flip Mark being on The Andy Griffith Show. I searched his name online and when I saw his photo I thought he looked familiar. Then I looked at his credits and realized I had just seen him in the Doris Day movie "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" this morning.
Huffington Post says Biden has 264 electoral votes, and just now CBS News says he has 253. I owe you an apology, DR TCB.The issue is Arizona. I saw on Facebook that they had called Arizona but the Fat Orange Slug raised a stink.
Feel better vibes for DR Jane!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DR Jane I'm guessing that you don't watch The Masked Singer. But there is a good chance that one of the singers might be Leslie Odom Jr.
I think the 11 votes were Arizona. NPR shows that Arizona went Biden; CNN isn't indicating either way. At least as of last night.
So, I've been thinking about Thanksgiving. Since everything is wacky, I'm thinking our holidays should be wacky as well. I mean, we don't need to pretend everything is normal. At least it will be memorable.
"Remember the year of the pandemic and we ate three kinds of potatoes and lasagna? That was great."
I’m going to make a root vegetable cobbler in the next few days.
Had a wonderful conversation with Chris Gilmore aka Annette Ferra aka Lolita. We're gonna do an interview for Facebook and YouTube Live, so that will be FUN!
