Vibes for DR ELMORE.  I think I sometimes don't even think about transportation, living here in the outback, if I need to get someplace, I just get into the machine and drive there.....

At least while I can still drive.....at age 70, I'm not sure how much longer I will be able.  I know my night time driving is going to be nil within a few years.

I agree with the lists for the TOD.  But if I had to choose just ONE favorite for each actor it would be:

Tony Curtis - Sweet Smell of Success

Janet Leigh - Psycho

I saw 40 Pounds of Trouble at the movies.....I think it's about a swinging bachelor somehow saddled with a child....

I am sorry/grateful to report that HUNCHBACK is completely sold out for the rest of the run!

Which isn't much a feat at 80 seats or so per house.

I did get a good response to my bit last night - I set it up correctly with the audience so that they knew it was okay to laugh....and of course I got applause on my EGRESS.

I always think of the stage direction from Shakespeare:

Thursday morning greetings!  I have been to the site of the AAUW garage sale to take pictures for our Facebook page.  Oh, my, it looks like a high-end resale shop - full of stuff I don't need!

One major errand done.

Enjoying an egg sandwich and another cup of joe before I head back out there.

My friends put in hours on these fundraising events.  I just do the online publicity and work during the sale.

Good Morning - 8th Grade Baccalaureate Mass this morning, and this evening actually going to the movies.

The movies sound like fun. I think I will wait until In the Heights.

DR TCB we visited Poulsbo a few years back but didn't have time to go over the bridge to Bainbridge.   At the time we wanted to eat at the cute diner, however, the lical friend we were visiting didn't want to eat there.

Keith's cousin has good friends in Bainbridge and visits them every year, except of course last year.  She goes on and on about how wonderful the island is.  We did miss it last night compared to hot Ellensburg ;D

Last night, I attended the online premiere of a new cantata by my friend, composer Jonathan Comisar. It is a setting of George Washington's letter "to the Hebrew congregation of Newport, Rhode Island" from 1790. It is called No Bigotry, No Sanction. It was performed by a crack choir and members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. I found it profoundly beautiful and moving. It starts in Hebrew (subtitled), but quickly turns to English, and in all encompasses about 15 languages.

If you have any interest in sampling it, it starts at about 12:25 at this link. The full performance runs about 25 minutes.

That was great, Singdaw.
