Just crossed a very long-delayed project off the list.

The kitchen required an extreme deep-cleaning of every nook and cranny, including scrubbing the floor, the countertops, and all the cabinetry.  It was a big job, and if feels good have accomplished it.

That's always a good feeling.

I slept very very well last night for the first time in ages, and I believe it's the result of a phone call around 4:30 from my urologist. He called to give me the results of last week's bone scan. The scan showed lots of damage, primarily from degenerative arthritis, but as far as they can tell, there is no sign of cancer, which had me terrified.

I will begin my hormone injections next Thursday.

That's fantastic, Larry!  Great news...mostly!!

Investing more in my health, I have acquired a Fitbit, so I can monitor my attempts at increasing my movement. The cleaning today actually helped push me over the top for my daily goal.

Great.  After my fitbit broke I started using an app on my phone.  I just need to keep my phone on me most of the day.  Counting my steps keeps me moving more, and is a reminder to get up and walk around every 10-20 minutes when sitting at my desk.

I don't know if I will ever be able to figure out all of the things a Fitbit can do. But it's a lot, if you can figure out all the "apps" and how to access them.

I only count steps and miles.

DR JohnG, thanks for your thoughts about In the Heights. I would like to see it, but I may not until it's on DVD.

Umm...well... ::)

Bryan had a Gerbil named Ditto.  I suggested the name since it looked like a Ditto next to the Gerbil he had already named.

Before we had children, hoping to be more organized, I read articles on how to organize my time better.  Basically they were suggestions on reducing steps and not making as many trips to do everyday tasks.  They all saved time, however, I found my back, as well as the rest of my body, hurt more because I wasn't moving as much.  I returned to my ways of "wasted" trips and time.

It seems that we can get HBO Max for free since we’re on Xfinity and are already paying for HBO. If so, we’ll be able to watch In the Heights, and I’d love to be able to capture the stream. It’s probably not possible unless you’re a real hacker, but we’ll see.

ChasSmith, if you're able to capture the stream (I tried and wasn't), would you be able to capture the Spanish language track of the movie, too (just as an audio track)?  There isn't an officially released one, and it's always nice to have different versions of shows that I know and like, even if I don't speak/understand that version.

For the first time in 2021 my parents, my nieces, my sister, her husband and I had a family dinner/BBQ outside. The weather was so nice too.

You are doing well.  That is better than most people and you will increase it with time, especially now that the weather is nice.
