I'd been craving lox and bagels lately, so I picked up supplies yesterday and just royally stuffed myself. Ate the whole 4 oz. package of smoked salmon divided over two open-faced bagels with (of course) cream cheese, capers, thin slice of tomato, thin shavings of red onion, and "everything bagel" seasoning liberally applied since I only had plain bagels. Very delicious, and a little more than I needed, but it had been so long since I'd had this that I needed to find out what the quantities need to be. A worthy experiment, and now I shan't need to eat anything at all till this evening.
