I pay most of my bills online and/or autopay, but I always mail a check for my car insurance and my life insurance.

I have never opened an online account for either of those services and don't plan to now.

But I better get my cards tomorrow or there will be HTP and I don't mean Hot Toilet Paper.

I think tomorrow morning I'll put up two numbers from Drat! The Cat! on Facebook.

Oh, I do hope so!

Today was a non-event. I got downtown to the courthouse early.

It seemed like about 80 people were called for today.

At around 9:45am, they took 50 folks up to the courtroom for voir dire. I was not among those called.

The rest of us sat around until noon, at which point they announced all of the other cases today had settles, and we were let go for the day.

My group may be called back again later in the week (but not tomorrow), and if I get put on a trial, it could extend into next week.

Does anyone happen to have the Jason Graae Live at the Cinegrill CD handy? Mine's buried in a box somewhere and he needs an mp3 of the opening number. Help?

Watching a Gene Kelly movie I had never heard of called Living in a Big Way. He’s doing a charming dance with a dog called Fido and Me. The movie ain’t great, but the musical numbers are.

TOD:

Jascha Heifetz, and I had the very good fortune to attend his last solo concert in 1972 at the Los Angeles Music Center. It was a very special night with my father.

Leave us not forget that I was at that concert, somewhere in the orchestra section, halfway back, right of center. Don’t know if I have the program. A bunch from that era went missing years ago, don’t ask me how.

The two solo concerts I remember there were the Heifetz and a Keith Jarrett one. I didn’t understand Jarrett’s music much at all. There’s a bootleg recording of the Heifetz concert, but I don’t have it. I wonder if it’s online.

Anyone have 40 eggs laying around? Martha Washington may want them.

I would think that it could fairly easily be scaled down to more manageable size...probably.
