I'm up, I'm up - maybe six and a half hours of sleep, thanks to tree idiots, trucks, and other unbelievably loud BS. I am so over this stuff. When I moved in here there was never any noise at all. Ever.

Over a year of building the monstrosity across the street and they're still not quite finished, although it's close.

And, as per usual, as soon as I get up all noise ceases.

Note to BK:

I don't think it went through, but if you should get a text from me with a photo of me and housemate Kristi at Norman Mailer's gravestone in 2010 ... please disregard!

It's been that kind of a day.  :)

I'm also going to have someone clip the musical numbers so that I have those separately.

Ah, good. But now I might as well post it here. It's just something I found while down in a rabbit hole chasing something else (that I never did find), and I was supposed to send it - obviously - to someone else. But now, for everyone's viewing pleasure...

So another new book for Chess! I love the score but nobody has figured out the book yet. Maybe this will be the one?

I think it’s like Baby. No book will ever match the score.

A few other shows like that:

Merrily We Roll Along
Ballroom
The Rink

YES to the video! Hope you can do that. Same with the musical numbers. Excellent ideas.

Could that be the reason for all those many Guests, monitoring your sleeping habits?

If you set it to UNLISTED for a brief period, and are careful to whom you give the link, that would mean only people you give the link to could see it.

Great new review, DR MichaelG, and again, I so wish we could see some of the production!

Our general director has promised that getting videos up for this season's productions will be one of his summer projects.

Merrily's book works now if you give it TLC like Maria Friedman's production. But no amount of TLC has ever made the Chess books work. I haven't seen the others. Of course "working" is a lower bar than what you said about matching the score.

I finished the laundry, brought it up, and Stella made a break for the hall. Once out of the apartment, she pulled an Annabelle and got lost on another floor. My neighbor, the Man with the Bike, found her on two while I was looking on four and stayed with her unrtil I got to two. Then, getting her into the elevator was sheer hell. I finally grabbed her by the tail, lifted her into the walker's bag and carted her home. She then lay down with me and cuddled while we watched The Young and the Listless, so I guess she's forgiven me for pulling her tail.
