I could get there today, depending on how much writing I get done.

Woke up at eleven-thirty. I got to bed late because I watched The Accountant 2, which just showed up for free on Prime. Not very good.

We still plan on watching it.

Why not go for it?  They say a millstone only comes once every thousand posts.

I am back from the jab and an excellent slice of meat lover's pizza at Stew Leonard's, and am taking a brief intermission between acts of Drat! - which is delightful.

I watched "Drat..." twice and loved it.   It brought back nice memories of seeing it in person (one memory that was different was that the leads didn't kiss because one of them was getting over a cold (as BK mentioned)).

Oh wait - I went farther than than the intermission. I just stopped after "Pox". Love that! And how timely is the lyric "May shingles leave him weak!"? I ask you.

DR CHAS SMITH I hope any of the side effects you get from the jab are minimal.

Good afternoon.

They play a note, like on the piano, and then I remember it to this day. And then they’d ask you other questions, and then they’d play notes later on, and they’d say, ‘Which is the note we played from one hour ago?’ And I’d, like, get it right, I guess.”

We went to a Cat Cafe, where you pay to be in a room full of cats.

All of the cats are up for adoption. We had planned to go before we lost Asha. Aunt Sassy did not get a cat. She had not planned on getting one.

Several cats were on the shelves by the ceiling. Because they weren't having it today.

There was a nice calico. But I would have brought home the white cat with tabby splotches. He had sad eyes. Not that he was sad, it was just his features.

Then we had lunch at Baja Fresh, using a forgotten gift card that I found cleaning out Sassy's old room.

Finished Drat!

Truly wonderful. Lloyd Pedersen and Constance Mellors are the absolute bomb. Sydney, it goes without saying. Everyone was great, and exactly what they needed to be.

I love those.  That is where Freyja found her cat.
