Then, I got up to find one of the cats had vomited in the water bowl, and that was a gross unpleasant situation. It clearly happened not long after I put out fresh water yesterday afternoon since I recognized the chunks floating in it, and that means the cats had no access to water all night. I feel bad about that.

Oh, no!  Hope all the cats are okay!

Rodzinski - they cut Oh Happy Day from the movie - structurally that's what I followed - they got rid of all the topical name references from the play - no one knows those anymore, so I just used the movie script for those cuts.

This here site is still a mite laggy.

Because a "But Alive!" verse seems to be called for:

And we are leggy and logy and laggy.
Loose as a hustler and tight as a baggie.
But online!
That's the thing!
But online!

That's great, Freddie!

DR Rodzinski, four sisters and no brothers?

My father had four older sisters.  While he was sad his oldest sister died, he was thrilled that his parents adopted her son and he then had a younger brother.  My dad and uncle were always very close.

I am the fifth of six. The eldest was my brother Bob who died at 13 of a brain aneurysm. Great kid who made the most of his short time on earth.

Oh, my goodness. :(

I finished the Dearest Enemy errata list to Concord Theatricals. I am finished with this show. And, dammit! I think I have tendonitis.

David Yazbek deserves a place among fans' lists of the modern great theater songwriters!

Tonight we're heading up to San Francisco to see Harvey Milk Reimagined at Opera Parallčle with friends. It's a shortened, reduced orchestra version of Stewart Wallace and Michael Korie's Harvey Milk opera from 1995. So I've been calling it "Condensed Milk." Our local retired classical music critic stole that line from out of my brain for his blog a few days ago.

I've had many things stolen out of my brain.

I think.

That, or I carelessly tossed them aside.

That’s great that your parents adopted their grandchild. And you got both an uncle and a cousin.

I was much older before I was told the full story.  I never really thought of him as a cousin.  While he was  seven years younger than my father he was 25 years older than me.  That's a lot of years when you are young.  I never realized my uncle was that much younger than my father.
