DR RODZINSKI that movie I'll Buy This Town has two Frances Farmer connection.

Lloyd Nolan was one of the featured stars in EXCLUSIVE starring Frances and Fred MacMurray....released on BluRay sometime this month.

And Constance Moore replaced Frances in a supporting role in Take A Letter, Darling when Frances through a fit and refused to wear the costumes or even come in for fittings at Paramount.

I mentioned the other day I didn’t care for drug use in a lot of novels. I guess it’s not much different from alcohol abuse in works of older generations.

Though what we might consider alcohol abuse today may have seemed normal, or not too bad, to them back then.

My sister and her husband bought me a portable air conditioner that I will be trying out soon.  First I have to freeze some water in four small containers that lie in the top bin of the contraption.

Vibes it makes you much cooler.

The Fitzgeralds would have likely have been drug users if they had been from a future generation.

Good point.

The cast gave me a $50 Amazon Gift Card so I pre-ordered the Blu Ray of EXCLUSIVE and the Cds of the cast albums of Maybe Happy Ending and Operation Mincemeat.

With Free Shipping (I am not a Prime Member) all three will arrive on Saturday.

I planned to be in bed by one, but I got caught up watching the wonderful American Masters show on Jerome Robbins. I've seen it three times now and it's one of the best they've done. Those excerpts are incredible.

The orchestra on the France Follies is great - the performances and staging are way too weird and the Buddy was, well, I mean who would marry him?

Can't tell what's what with how I feel yet - it takes a bit to get the Ny-Quil out of one's system.

I pre-ordered food last night - it should be here in about twenty minutes - Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. I didn't get the waffle because it doesn't travel well. Got two breasts and two legs - very reasonable price - along with potato salad and a biscuit. I'll eat one breast and leg when it arrives and save the other for my early evening snack.

We accidentally left our front door unlocked and had a bit of a surprise.  Keith called me in my office and said to watch our ring camera.  By the time I got to him in his office, which is near the front door, I was laughing my head off.

Some strange woman came up from the garage and casually walked right into our place.  Fortunately Keith has excellent hearing and got up to investigate before she got very far inside.

It turns out she wanted the unit above us and needed to go up another flight of stairs.  She was very embarrassed, laughing, and apologizing.

Great news about the new air conditioner!

Chicken was fantastic - big breast - very full now - but in a couple of hours I'll be ready for the rest :)
