Saturday evening greetings! I’ve been to 2 book discussions since my last post here.

Thursday evening my local AAUW friends met to discuss Ina Garten’s memoir. Our hostess baked Ina’s brownie recipe for us and the consensus was - NO.

This morning I Zoomed with statewide AAUW friends to discuss The Women by Kristen Hannah. While the story is an important one to tell, I wish it weren’t so soap opera-ish.

While I liked the book, and agree it was an important story to tell, it is not one of my favorie Kristen Hannah books.
