Topic of the Day: I don't remember my mom making homemade macaroni and cheese (it was never called "mac" and cheese until recently). I do remember finding a recipe when I was either in middle or high school on baking some boxed Kraft brand macaroni and cheese and doctoring up a bit. I don't remember the recipe, but I remember that it was really good.

I've never made it homemade. I've only either gotten it at restaurants or doctored up boxed versions...although, I don't think I've baked any since I was in school.

I ate Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, or what the Canadians call “Kraft Dinner” (perhaps because they’re not allowed to say the dust that comes with it is “cheese) a lot in my college days. It was a cheap meal. Then I realized I could throw a can of tuna in there and have a really good time. I tried this recently and it was way too salty.
