I will be seeing a production of The Fantasticks tomorrow starring Anthony Morelli. I decided last week that since tomorrow is our 15 year anniversary that I would go down to Annapolis where he is performing and surprise him. He has no idea I'm coming down. I told him I couldn't make it because of work (we are in a busy time right now but I can take a day off (Monday) and it's our 15th so it's important and special.

I'm taking the train to DC tonight after work. I will stay with a friend and then tomorrow the four of us will drive down to Annapolis to see the show. They had planned on seeing the show anyway and when I called to ask if they had room in the care (getting to Annapolis is not easy if you don't have a car) they were very happy to have me join them. I will see the show and then when he comes out to see our DC friends I will be there for the "reveal" as they say in television.

I will stay Saturday and Sunday (my friends will drive back to DC) and drive back to NYC on Monday with Anthony.

I'm very excited about the trip and a day away from the office.

I shall shortly be on my way to listen to tapes, have a burger with Brad Oscar, and then do a recording session, which, I have the feeling, is going to last longer than I care for it to. I'm hoping to be out by ten but I'm suspecting eleven or midnight might be what we're looking at.
