ok, DR Elmore turn your tv on go to settings on your remote scroll down to Caller id and it should give you a list of the last 10 phone calls

Thanks! I will try that, DR Danise, as soon as this phone call with the  Man from Philadelphia is over!

Tonight is Dine Out For Life, "An annual dining fundraising event raising money for AIDS service organizations."  My sister called and asked if I wanted to go with her and my niece and a couple of other friends to The Urban Onion.  They will donate 25% of their proceeds, so I said yes!  And I like The Urban Onion, anyway. :D

Anybody else going to watch the live episode of 30 Rock?  It's going to be done live again in 3 hours for the West Coast.

And now, I'm leaving work.  But I MUST be home before it's too late.  I am wearing my last pair of clean underwear (TMI, I know ;)) so I NEED to do laundry tonight.  Shouldn't be problem.

Be back later.

While I was out and about I got it in my head that I wanted some chocolate licorice.  I've been thinking about it ever since Bruce posted that he can't get it out in CA.  Well to make a long story short, I couldn't find it anywhere!

I am super happy. I was autoapproved (on netgalley) for a book that comes out in June that I am dying to read. It's called Timepiece by Myra McEntire. I loved loved love the first book Hourglass.

I don't really know why I was autoapproved (it means you don't have to request the title you are automatically allowed to get it).  I see that i have the same option for 3 more books by the same publisher. Need to read up on these books to see if they interest me. This was a nice birthday surprise!

I've been trying the different assistances on the android market.  I'm not impressed with any of them.

30 Rock was very funny!  Alec Baldwin was just great!  You West Coasters should watch.

I'm sad to say but it made me very happy. If i wasn't auto approved i would have been waiting and wondering if i was accepted (at least 50% of the time you are rejected). I've heard of bloggers being autoapproved. But I've never dealt with this publisher.

It's already on my kindle!

Another really nice review on amazon for the new book - another from someone I don't know, which is always nice - it's at the top:

For some reason these kids are obsessed with birthdays. They plan out their cakes months in advance.  They are just as excited for someone else's birthday.  Plus apparently my niece worked very hard on this card.
