He may not be a racist or a sexist or an anti-any human rights-ist, but that's the effect whenever he's on the show - the complainer always is never heard from again if they claim a human rights claim sin a Viertel show.

He does it like breathing.

Ladies and gentlemen, apologies for this stuff.  I didn't know how to ask more nicely than I did.  It's been going on for too long, we've all seen the endless posts about it, I've allowed the posts to stay up, but now is not the time for this - we've all got enough to worry about.  Hopefully, FJL will come back when he works this out with himself.  At this point, it's counterproductive and not what this board is about.  Let us continue on with good humor, positivity, and getting through this wacky time we're in.  I adore you all and as you know, very protective of everyone here.

I tried to watch The Agony and the Ecstasy Blu-ray, but it was too much agony without enough ecstasy.  Then I watched about a half hour of Grand Prix.  What a weird movie.  I like some of it, but the writing is just awful.  Good cast, though.

I think I'm too antsy to sit on the  couch like so much fish, so I'll read more Woody and try not to eat every single thing in the house.

DR George this might be of interest to you.

Star Trek: Picard" is warping toward an epic season one finale on Thursday (March 26) and if you're in the U.S. and not watching yet, series star Sir Patrick Stewart wants you to "make it so."

On Twitter today, Stewart announced that Trek fans in the United States can now watch "Star Trek: Picard" for free on CBS All Access using the code "GIFT." The code is valid through April 23, so you'll have to act soon to binge the series.

CBS All Access is a subscription service that starts at $5.99 a month. In addition to the free "Picard" episodes, you can try CBS All Access for a week free here.

Thanks for letting me know, Jane!  I think my niece and sister were interested, so I'll tell them about it, too. :D

Halfway through the Woody book - really glad he wrote this because not only is it funny and self-deprecating, he sets many things right that have been mis-reported over the years.

I was exhausted when I went to bed. Maybe it was a carb overload. Now I’m wide-eyed. Finished a Zora Neale Hurston short story that put me to sleep earlier.

Short stories should be read in one sitting, if possible.

Picked up dinner tonight. It appears to be an entire chicken fried, a huge salad, mac and cheese, stewed green beans and a six-pack of their homebrewed beer.

What are stewed green beans?

I don’t mean to sound political, but has Trump lost his mind?  Last week he actually started to sound like he got it.  Then suddenly, today he decides that everything will taken care by Easter Sunday, and all will be fine.

Hi, Tom!

Hi, John.  Those beans sound good.

They were the one dish I finished. I have maybe six pieces of chicken left.

Yes, he has lost his mind.  A friend of mine shared a post of someone's tweet about him:
