I was so happy to discover that I had electricity when I go thome.

The temperature has gone down from the high nineties to the mid seventies!

Ok, they just announced on the news that $1 from every Blizzard at DQ today goes to the Children's Miracle Network .  Not sure if it's a local thing, but I really should go do my duty for charity, don't cha think?   Ya shure you betcha

Sometimes I donate what I would spend on the junk food instead of eating it. ;)

But that isn't nearly as fun or as tasty!!!  I'm fat again. I'll diet when summer is over.  I'm always my heaviest in the summer

Interesting I usually drop my weight in the summer, except for this year.  I not getting as much exercise as usual & eating too much junk.  I working on changing that.

I have problems with dealing with the heat.  I sit around in air conditioning in the summer and get active as it starts to get cooler.  I actually love the winter.   funny, I've always lost the most weight from Oct-March

Just what I need to read on a hot muggy evening in August.   The first winter weather forecast that calls for heavy snow this winter in the Pacific Northwest!  Don't laugh, Jane, that includes you.

Just heard a test track of the EQd version of our upcoming title - it sounds lovely, and shows just how fine mono can sound.

I wonder if that's common. I would have thought that people would be outdoors more and do more exercise in the summer.

I just wrote the same thing. I would think this is more common (although it's just a guess). I would think people would be more sedentary in the winter.

I just finished watching THE GHOST WRITER.

A little slow for my taste, but it is excellent.

I hate summer.  Always have.  I hate bugs. I hate hot weather. I would rather be in the house until the bugs are dead.

I concur that there is no need to buy a new frame for the Hung Thurber....it is most excellent as it hangs.

We got through the run through.....even though Charlie was gone and the FOOL reading the part decided to walk around with us and even if I was standing talking to a chair he was supposed to be in....he insisted on standing behind me.

MR BK the dumbass woman to whom I responded on your wall wrote a pithy comment to me which I didn't answer much.....I wanted to tell her that if she is PAYING to sing songs - three was enough....and her picture made her look like a sad drag queen....but I did not....since she has a relative who writes for the NYT and another who writes freelance for NEWSWEEK and they are both REAL journalists....the idiot.....

And now I am going to watch a DVD from DR MBARNUM and read a treasure trove of papers sent to me by DR JMK, who must still be having inner web difficulties.

Laura's photos make me want to go outside.  Her bugs are beautiful, not blood sucking mosquitos that are everywhere right now.  Of course we are only 1 1/2 inches of rain short of the wettest summer on record which leads to mosquitos
