I called the cable company and I'm getting the cable put into my new place TOMORROW between 8 a.m. and noon!  It's happening tomorrow!!  AND VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING!! :P

Congratulations, DR George, on being "cable ready"!

("Cable ready" also describes some of the films I've worked on...)

Congratulations, DR George, on being "cable ready"!

Thanks!  And I'm springing for digital cable, too!  We'll see if I actually watch all those channels. ::)

I have Comcast digital, and it's well worth it. I don't watch much TV and the digital system makes it easy for me to quickly scan and assess my options, plus there's "On Demand" which is a great feature for those of us who don't have Tivo. You can get Bollywood films on demand, plus short films from Something Weird video, which has great stuff...school scare films, etc. Enjoy

No, it's good. Their money spends the same as some high falutin' documentary (as though there's any money to be made from a documentary!)

I don't know.  I would assume that it's a Comcast-specific package.  Direct TV might have an equivalent, though.

Well, I must be going now.  I have to go home and get my wallet and checkbook (I left them there this morning!) and then meet my mom at Sears to buy a new washer and dryer!  After that will be rehearsal.

Bachke Rehna Re Baba.

There's the title for your next book! It's catchy. Isn't this what Mel Brooks would call the "onomotopoetica-rhetoritca"?

I think Rheoritca would have had a much bigger career if she had gotten the role of Anita in WSS instead of Moreno....she certainly could dance as well.

Michael S - Lovely pictures of my hometown. What were your impressions of Hungary? The people? The food? Etc....

I enjoyed visiting Hungary. Budapest is an amazing city. They synagouge, the tree of life the museum. There is much to recommend. As for the food I wasn't adventerous and had typical dishes. The country is very beautiful.

I just notice that Actor's Equity Executive Patrick Quinn died a couple of weeks ago. He was one of the founders of Equity Fights AIDS.

He worked for BK on the studio recording of Lucky Stiff.

I saw him off-Broadway in Putting It Together. He was the standby for Michael Rupert.

The picture I post here has him a little older than I remember

Thanks!  I just stopped by my house to pick up my wallet and checkbook (which I left here this morning) and BK's brand new book arrived!  I'll bring it to rehearsal tonight and see if anyone asks about it. ;)

I am a little sad that this didn't have a Guy Haines CD with it (like BK's previous books)...it wasn't supposed to, was it?  But nonetheless, I'm glad that I got it. :)
