Last night, I worked concessions for the national tour of A Chorus Line. I was a little sad because, although I had requested to usher for the show, I was assigned to work concessions. The problem with that is that you don't get to see the very beginning of the show because you have to put things away when the show starts before you can go in to watch, and then if there's an intermission, you have to leave early to set up the concessions area again, and then stay after the second act starts to completely clean up everything. HOWEVER, A Chorus Line doesn't have an intermission (which means not a lot of pre-show sales) and the head concessionaire, Vicki, said that was could just quickly put things into the kitchen area and do the more thorough cleaning after the show was over. We got to see the entire show!
