Robert Goulet took one look at the bill of faire at the cafe and shouted, "Now they have me working for hot dogs!"
Max calmly stated, "Bobby, baby. . . it's a kosher wiener."
Goulet, sullen, exclaimed, "If I had bigger ears, would you be tossing me peanuts as pay?"
Max, hesitant to create a furor in the Edison Cafe, blurted out, "Well, at least I never promised you a rose garden."
At which point, Tricia Nixon Cox walked gracefully into the cafe.
