TOD:
CDs - nothing, really. Well, OK, I stayed up late last night, unable to fall asleep, and listened to some of the OCR of Sweet Charity. Not a good idea, really - The Rythm of Life and Big Spender are not the best of lullabyes.
DVDs - I've started watching Inferno, a Doctor Who story starring Jon Pertwee. It's a long one, seven episodes, so this should take me a few nights. (I like to watch them one episode at a time, rather than back to back, the way the kids hiding behind the sofa would have when they were first broadcast.)
BOOK - Michel Richard's Happy in the Kitchen - an honest ta gawd cookbook! Richard is the chef/owner of Citronelle in DC, and before that ran Citrus in LA. He's a former pastry chef who somehow became a savory chef, not an easy trasition to make. Anyway, he's got some interesting ideas, and uses his tools in innovative ways - I wouldn't have thought of using a microplane grater to mince garlic, which really is a timesaver. And the photos are cool. And the book is heavy. No, really, it weighs in at four pounds nine ounces.
