When we lived on the East Coast Keith wasn't always around. I did have more dogs & multiple cats back then. None of our dogs ever kept us a warm as Sherlock does. Dick Button and Paul Wylie were the commentators for ABC last year and they both felt Buttle's program lacked sufficient point value to beat Joubert (and Buttle had been 4.5 points ahead of Joubert going into the long program).

They were very, very wrong, so far as the judges were concerned. Buttle's skate -- the best male skating performance I've ever seen -- beat Joubert's by a considerable margin. And although Button and Wylie were "tski-ng" over Buttle's not having a quad and, presumably, thinking that Joubert's one quad would give him more points than Buttle could overcome, Buttle's technical score was 6 points higher than Joubert's. Of course, Buttle had a complete program with great music and very sophisticated footwork. He also landed as many triples as Joubert did, including a three-jump combination. Joubert was very good, but his content was more attuned toward setting up jumps than working difficult footwork into the entrances and exits to his jumps. That was Buttle's strength, I believe.

I'll be very interested to see what develops at the World championships this month.

Probably not the first time Ron has waxed estatically over a great Buttle.

What RLP doesn't even mention our soundtrack release? What a crazy morning it's been - had a whole barrage of rather silly e-mails to deal with (from the author of the long musical) - I was VERY strong. Then had to proof and do corrections on the Rio package so I can send that for approval, and am now trying to do the same for Anya - needless to say, no long jog today, but I needed a day off. Then Linda and Kevin will be here at eleven. Kevin At Eleven - that's the title of my next novel.

I often don't watch promos or previews. However this promo was running a lot.
And Rob lowe was on a bunch of shows hyping this event. AND even sites like
tv guide had huge polls asking, "which castmate do you think will die on
tonight's show". It made it pretty hard to miss. I think some of the blurbs
about the show did say "illness" and not death. But they definitely made a

Yesterday my niece (3)and I were making muffins (blueberry/strawberry - her decision).

This all sounds really weird and sort of icky. But apparently during the show (the first 2 hours) he proposes to melissa (i have no idea who this is but she is one of the 2 left).
