DR DRLaura, did you get the printer problem sorted out?  and did you give Ricoh a piece of your mind?

The dealer will bring a different machine out next Thursday and take away the Ricoh. After thirty days, if we are satisfied, we keep it. If we are dissatisfied, they will take it away and refund our money. The new machine will be a Kyocera.

Great pictures. I love it when we all post photos of things in our lives.

Put it through its paces dears.... I have a kyocera in my office and it seems to work well as long as keep the idiot who likes to run paper with staples throught it away from the machine!

Thanks for hte comments... Photography is another hobby I like...

Well, by default (because I live in Olympia, WA, and have lived here since I was 10...I'm now almost 40!), I suppose that I should support the Seahawks.  But, I'm not a fan of football at all, so I don't really care either way. ;)

I finished up my afternoon viewing with COURTING ALEX from Monday night. Perfectly pleasant people in a mundane sitcom. Nothing wrong with it other than just not being terribly funny to me.

I don't watch very many sitcoms right now because I don't find them funny. But I really like COURTING ALEX.  I think it is more of a woman's show though.

I think Jenna Elfman is really good.  And I like the chemistry between her and the bar owner.  I think it is a sitcom yet it almost has the potential to be part 1/2 hour drama to me.

I prefer this much more than CRUMBS (even though that show had a fantastic cast too). I just find ALEX to be a more relatable and interesting story.  ANd putting after TWO AND A HALF MEN insured that it would do well.

A freind of mine taped Courting Alex for me for I do not get CBS OTA. I rather like that show also...

And tomorrow night is the first night of SURVIVOR Panama Exile Island. Will anybody here be watching?  I will be interested to see how much the premiere effectst the ratings for DANCING WITH THE STARS.  I like both, but prefer SURVIVOR and will definitely watch that one live (or for DR RLP at 8pm when it is on).

Finally remembered to ask my fella about Allison Hayes, DR JRand. He instantly knew who she was and then said, "Oh, yes, Allison and Yvette Vickers" (huh?). Anyway, that's what he said, and then asked me to ask you if you knew who played the Leech Woman? (He knows; I guess this is some sort of trivia challenge though I don't think that's especially hard for the B-movie addicts we have here.)

Yes!  GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE was a favorite cartoon of mine.  Also loved Super Chicken and Tom Slick.  Hopefully, we should see this show collected on DVD soon.

RE COURTING ALEX: I just find the writing very generic and the attraction very predictable (though they're both very attractive actors). Dabney Coleman's bluff and bluster is tedious to me and not at all funny. But it's doing well, and I'm sure CBS will order additional episodes of it. I suspect the next episode will be the last one I will watch. (I try to give new shows three chances to win me over before I do something else with the time.)

Horse racing, no doubt!

I liked CSI: NY, also, though the identity of the murderer in case #1 was pretty obvious.
