DANISE! Glad you are up and at 'em!

I'm sure Jack Wild would have written you personally, if he only knew how cool you are!

Sorry but I don't watch American Idol.

We watched that "Deal or No Deal" the past two nights.  I like it.

Well, I need to take that walk.  Have a good afternoon in case it tires me out like it did yesterday.  I'll try to post again this evening.

I loved the wedding picture Jane... I want more!!!

Danise  thak you for the flower photos, I am glad that the reality lived up to the website picture.

I am glad you are feeling better but please do not push yourself.  As for flying up here to be in the snow... gosh I'd like to fly down there to get out of it!

"Oh Happy We!",  Candide.

"The Grass Is Always Greener", Woman of the Year.  If Barbara Cook and Elaine Stritch are not available, it should be sung by DRs Jose S. Piano and FJL.

"The Apple Doesn't Fall",  The Rink.

"One More Kiss", Follies.

"Penniless Bums",  Haines His Way  er, I mean Sugar.

"Little Red Hat",  New Guy in Town, I mean 110° in the Shade.

"Poems", Pacific Overtures.

"Class",  Chicago.  (Didn't work in the movie--wonderful on stage.)

"Sunday",  Flower Drum Song.  I don't know, this tune seems to run through my head every Sunday morning of my life.  Especially the lyric "...with nothing to do."  And then I remind myself of all of the undone things around the house...

Thank YOU for the thinking of me.

I feel like a lazy butt and really I should be back at work.  I'm already getting itchy to get out and about.  I guess that's a good sign.

Wanna trade places for a few days?   ;) :D

Actually I wish the weather had stayed dry for a couple of more days.  The Vixter and her Youth Group at church asre participating in the "30 Hour Famine"  where they fast from noon tomorrow until 6 pm on Saturday, to raise money for World Vision International.  Tomorrow I will be taking the afternnon off from work so I can chaperone a group  going to businesses to raise money, and Saturday I will be chaperoning a group standing in front of one of the local supermarkets where they will be trying to collect "non-perishables" for the community food pantries.  Although we knew it would be cold we were at least hoping it would be dry... I am not looking forward to several hours of standing in the snow, especially as with the ongoing fasting there can't be any coffee or hot chocolate to help warm us up.....

ah well all for a good cause.....

There may be snow on the Upper West Side but down here in Chelsea which, as we all know, is the center of the universe, not just the world  ;) it has turned to rain. If this keeps up we will not be getting the up to six inches of white, fluffy snow. Oh, well. I'll be back at work tomorrow. No chance of the office closing for rain.

As we get closer to our trip I'll know how much time we will have in Portland.

Speaking of trips I have to order everything for our new guest bathroom before I leave on Wednesday.  We are going to visit family in LA before I attend a wedding shower.

I’m very stressed as the new furniture hasn't arrived yet.  There will be someone here while we are away so the furniture can be late, except I need to see it before I order the faucets, tile, etc. for the bathroom.

Oh...

And after "Sandy" - at least that's what his name tag said - installed the new part, he found out that the compressor is bad.  So...  At least my parents have an extended warranty/insurance on the unit, so...

Guess this might not be the right time to ask them for money then.
