They really flogged CRASH out in LA with the voters. The Writers appeared at Guild Theatre screenings. I got DVD screeners from both SAG and the WGA. Like JRand, I was kinda pushing for GOOD NIGHT & GOOD LUCK sweep. Glad George walked away with an Oscar from his other film.

Right now, I'm listening to the complete recording of Sweet Charity with Jacqueline Dankworth as Charity. Her British accent shows itself every once in a while and pulls you out of the New York setting. I can't imagine, however, the Britons feel about how Americans do British accents.
