Ok, for you LA people. I'm going to LA the end of July to see CURTAINS at the Ahmanson and am looking for recommendations on a hotel and whether I'll need a car. I'll only be there 2 days (flying out on the 3rd day). The Omni is the closest and has a good gov rate on the weekend...hmmm any suggestions?

I'm home. I went into work for a few hours and afterwards I bought a new mouse for my computer. First of all, my old mouse (it's a wireless) isn't that old, but yesterday, it just wouldn't work.

I changed the batteries and that didn't make any difference, so today I bought a relatively inexpensive wired mouse. I plugged it in and everything worked just fine. Later on, I'm going to swap back the wireless mouse to see if it works again...sometimes all it takes is some kind of change and everything goes back to normal. If it does, I'll keep the wired mouse as a back-up.
