Travel vibes to DR JOSE - there and back!

LOL DR EDISAURUS.

Actually, I always thought  using the clutch was an option rather than a necessity on most manual transmission autos.

Good Evening!

Well, I've been taking care of little things here and there, as well as taking a few cat naps and breaks over the past few hours, and I'm happy to say I'm feeling much better.  Much better.

Basically, I just have to pack my luggage - which really shouldn't take too long - and then straighten up my desk, and that's about it.  So, I should be in bed by midnight.  -I would go to bed earlier, but that never happens, so...

As for "American Idol"...

For once, the judges were basically all in agreement.  Even Paula seemed to be trying very hard to be positive tonight.  All in all, a good hour.  Not a great hour.  Just a bunch of good performances.

As for tonight's "House".

Very good episode.  And one that sort of hit close to home for me.  And both stories were quite riveting, and it was actually hard to tell which one was the "A" story, and which one was the "B" story.  I thought they were both "A" stories.

DR edisaurus - Hmm... I'll see what my callbacks situation looks like.  If I end up being free, I may just join you and your gang.  -I may not be able to get away until 9:00 - would that still work out?

DR Jose---you can just visit Marius at his salon when you're in Atlanta.

P.S. He's VERY cute!

Well, I was thinking more of DR Jane since she had such a good shampoo and scalp massage while in Roumania.

I have beets roasting merrily in the oven.  When they're ready, I'll poach a couple of chicken breasts, and then use the poaching liquid to hydrate the tri-color couscous and then use some of the juice from the beets to add just a little more color to the couscous.  It should be a very pretty plate.

Actually, two plates, one for each of us.   ::)

Hmm... Wouldn't the beet juice color the tri-color couscous uni-color?  Or are you going for a gradated effect?

Yesteday, Toni and Brandon found two keys in the sand on the playground. The whole class was VERY excited about it. They all rushed over to the gate and took turns trying the keys. Unfortunately, neither one opened the gate.

The Slinkies remain at large.

DR Cillaliz - Hope you feel better soon.  A lot of people - myself included - seemed to have come down with some sort of "irritation" after this weekend's weather.  Hopefully, another good night's sleep will take care of the rest of the annoyance. (for both of us)

Is anyone else watching that search for the next Pussy Cat Doll show that started on the CW tonight?

Yeah, that's really what I figured, but the fire story is so much more dramatic

A likely story. ;) I won't be watching it.  The first time that I'd ever heard of them was when they were guest performers on "Las Vegas."  I didn't realize that they were a real group.  I just thought...I don't know what I thought. :P

There wasn't that much beet juice, and the tri-color couscous' three colors each turned a different shade of pink upon absorbing the juice.

Better yet was the lemon zest I stirred into the couscous, giving it great flavor and tang.
