"Woman up", Miss Karen!

Are you suggesting you can't hold your own against posts-only-two-days-a-week François?

DR Jennifer,
Obviously it would be possible to find out who wins TAR, but then it wouldn't be any fun to watch.  I like to speculate a little, but I certainly don't want to know if I'm right or wrong until I actually watch the show.  I also know that the promos are cut to mislead or to make something that was a little insignificant detail look like a turning point.  So I wouldn't put too much stock in the promos.
Just my 2 cents

DR TCB and DR Laura, re: american idol and voting for sanjaya.  Obviously i wasn't suggesting that DR Laura was voting. :)

Oh, I think she is a closet Sanjaya text-messenger and we should pull her text-messaging files to prove it!  ;)

And a lovely good morning to all of the assorted flavors, lovelies, studlies, waifs, vixens, and H/Ks here today.

for the TOD :

I can actually do (and have done in public),
the Cha Cha Cha,  the Twist, polka, waltz, the limbo, and the Monkey.

But, I always wanted to do The Lambada (the forbidden dance).

And with all of the dances above, I'm really terrible...... I was a musician, not a dancer.

Some people actually seem to enjoy Sanjaya's presence on the show.

Some think he's got the "young" vibe that the show always claims it's looking for.

Not a few think he's a talented, too.

Given the thousands of auditions that were just plain terrible, Sanjaya still stands out.

Still working on the bathroom?

Yes. And the living room wall where we removed the mirrors.

After the drywall man, the plumbers will put the bathroom back together, and then tilemen will tile the shower/tub.

Probably another three months, the way these guys show up when they feel like it.

FJL - here's the sad tale - again, a little talk with your building - if there are people there, which there are, there is no excuse to not leave the package - it doesn't have to be signed for, only accepted.  So, I don't know what you do from here, but hopefully it won't sit somewhere for three months and then get sent back to me.  Let me know.  And, if a notice was left, why didn't you get it?  And why WOULD they have left a notice unless NO ONE was in your building to receive it (i.e. doorman, mail room person, etc.)

 Label/Receipt Number: 0306 1070 0003 6466 5454
Status: Notice Left

We attempted to deliver your item at 9:38 AM on April 14, 2007 in NEW YORK, NY 10036 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

I, in fact, would hie myself to the post office with this info and get your package today - and I would ask they why it wasn't left.

FJL, I've sent you the info in an e-mail so you can print it out and show it to your building people and the post office.

"Woman up", Miss Karen!

Are you suggesting you can't hold your own against posts-only-two-days-a-week François?

What's this?  A challenge (said with my best French accent as a nod to DR Francois) from you, Mr. P, the HHW Poster of the Century? ...Hooh-hah!
(DR Jose ~ That's my HHW Smackdown smack talk that I pronounce hoe-haah, so it's not a rip-off of your Hooh-hah ( ;)) ...  (singing voice) You say Who-Hah. I say Hoe-Haah! .. so let's call the whole thing off...)

Does anyone know what I could use to fake a prison uniform? I would just get one, except that I can only find them in sizes ten times too large.

spoo, Boo-Key fell off the screen ... as well as I must do.. I was just taking a break and there's no way to catch up on all these frenzies (thanks to DRs Naomi, Mr P, Francois and all you other HHW frenzynites..everyone has gone bananas -- which is a good thing since this is a posting only zone) .. back to putting the conclusion on my paper and then off to turn it in..Yeaaa!  (singing) Another one bites the dust! Another one down..another one down...(fades out as she leaves)...

BK - I can absolutely say without any fear of being wrong that they're simply lying if they said they attempted to deliver to us at 9:38 a.m. on Saturday morning.  I was sitting right in our living room at the computer working on a return with the NY1 Onstage TV program going on in the background.  The Post office employees clearly have no fear of lying, and have done so on many occasions.    The only Post office service that is 99.9999% reliable seems to be the overnight express service.  (They can't leave packages with the guy at the desk downstairs, because he's security and not a doorman, so I'd speculate what happened is that when the Saturday mail delivery guy found out he had to go all the way upstairs and couldn't leave it with a doorman, he just made up that he attempted delivery and put that info in the system.)

"F*#k Pink"--no one sang that quite like Kay Thompson.

A real prison uniform or something like they wear in cartoon prisons (white with the black horizontal stripes)?

Get over it!

The show MUST go on.

Ahh,,, I know you're just a kid.  Folks often forget that kids can feel pressure or have doubts about themselves.  Folks can forget what it was like being kids themselves.

BUT...everyone is counting on you.  You stand here not wanting to do what you were born to do...but you're gonna do it.  You're gonna walk out on that stage and they're all gonna know the truth about you:

You're every inch a star.  There's nothin' you can do about it.  So "woman up" and take the stage and knock their socks off!
