In honor of Britney, will K-Fed interpolate the number "UPS, I did it again"

(You see, K-Fed will play the UPS man, and Britney had a song "Oops, I did..." - oh, never mind  :) )

Whatever role he's playing, I hope he hits the gym. The tabloids have been reporting that he's put on a bit of weight... not that I ever read tabloids.  ;D

There is one bonus featurette on disc 1 of SWEENEY TODD. It's a real making-of documentary (the one on the second disc was fluffy electronic press kit kind of stuff) that runs almost 30 minutes. We see them recording the score, we see them rehearsing on the set, and then filming in small bits.

During this feature, it came out that Helena Bonham-Carter wanted to play it bigger, and Burton wouldn't allow it. He wanted her performance internalized and quiet so she'd be inhibited in the same way Sweeney was. At least now I know who to blame for the only performnace in the film I didn't care for.

Our presentation went well today- at least the part that my roommate and I were responsible for, our co-presenter was a bit all over the place. Maybe if she had bothered to use the outline that I had compiled and revised several times after our meetings, she would have been more organized.

Hi all, really briefly, since I keep getting kicked off the wireless I'm piggybacking on...
Mexico was a lot of fun. Details and photos will follow when I get home. My mom did step in a hole and took a nasty fall. She is a little banged up but nothing sprained or broken that we can tell.  So Vibes would be appreciated.

I will say when she fell there were people coming from every direction to help her. A nice man pulled a stool out of his store and let her sit and get herself together while we cleaned up her scraped hand.  Her knee is sore tonight but I think she's ok

The second half of our presentation featured poems, personal stories, and a Q&A period with teens from our residential programs. They were amazing. Our co-presenter.... eh.

Since we had use of the agency car to get us to and from Connecticut, we stopped at Petco on the way home and bought a huge kitty condo. The cats are thrilled.

I've got some writing to do, so I'm going to tend to that now and then head down to bed.

Good night!

Earlier, I was watching the dvd of The Sherman Brothers' TOM SAWYER, hopelessly panned-and-scanned, but boasting a 5.1 soundtrack; I got to wondering, did Warren Oates actually do his own singing?  Does anybody know?
