No, I didn't talk about THE PURPLE MASK. I've never even seen it!

I was VERY impressed with the remastering job done on CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. Beautiful picture and nice revamped sound for a 1968 movie. I got so nostalgic for 1968 musicals that I put in OLIVER as soon as CHITTY finished.

JOAN OF ARCADIA is doing just fine, so no worries there. She'll no doubt be back for a second season. And MONK is priceless; no worries there either.

DR JRand, I believe I read some time ago that the Todd-AO version of AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS is gone, lost to the ravages of poor storage and neglect and that the full screen version is all that's left. Sad, I know, but I'm almost positive that's what I read.

Ironic that the widescreen process that bears the name of its financier Mike Todd is no longer a part of the movie that won him an Oscar.

Ya'll have good evening. Just a FYI--it's 44 degrees here/now and may go down into the upper 30's. Can you BELIEVE that for Central Florida!? How cold does it have to get to snow?
