Yes, dear friend, I just returned!  And a splendid bunberry it was.

Heartiest thanks to those who wished me safe vibes.  And to those of you who didn't (scary music):  I know you are.

Hey elmore, check out this site to see a pic of your namesake’s twin brother, Bentley Bunny.    http://www.princesstoys.com/spring.htm

You do remember we named this guy in your honor?

re: Today's media check...I guess it wasn't THE LOWER DEPTHS that was highly recommended on this here site, but THE BAD SLEEP WELL...which I also have to watch on DVD.

Now, which one should I watch this weekend?

I'd choose The Bad Sleep Well - excellent film.

Back from a haircut and then a too-brief rehearsal.  2/3rds of the people who said they'd be there weren't.  Still, I blocked right through to the end of the act, and the student that's assisting me wrote everything down and will give it to the applicable people.  Then I came home.

When I arrived at LACC I was told that we couldn't rehearse in the theater because the show that opens next Friday was going to be in there.  Since it was the director of that show that said I COULD be in the theater, I threw a royal shit fit at the tech lady who was telling me - I threatened to pull the plug on the show and the class, and that I was sick of being thought of as some toy or addendum.  We rehearsed in the theater, so I guess it worked.

I must say I'm in a blue funk and have been in one for over a week now, which is very unusual for me.  I'll have to snap out of it at some point soon, at least I hope I will.

I second THE BAD SLEEP WELL, DR MBARNUM....first discussed here on HHW....purchased and enjoyed....  Mysterious and spooky...and all other things that Mr Toshiro Mifune does so well as an actor.

I'll catch up with the posts in a few minutes. But I want to announce that I wrote for almost 15 hours straight today (no jokes, TCB) - started at 4:30 a.m. and stopped only for interruptions from the set to do quick production fixes -- but I FINISHED. The script is in. Of course, I already have a meeting set for Monday morning to discuss notes.
I have one bit of writing to do for the script that's shooting - just some background dialogue. And then I will have one whole day off to do whatever I want.
I'm now officially hungry.

JRand- I recommended BEST FOOT FORWARD as the title on a 1943 marquee  today. I've never seen it. I hear Desi considered it Lucy's best film. Info?

Had a nice evening. I bought a cute bistro table and two chairs for the front porch area.  It's perfect. I'm looking forward to sitting out there with a cup of coffee or tea in the morning or to look up at the stars at night.

It's a beautiful cool evening. How nice.
