Ginny - airfares are looking decent right now (well relatively decent) I'm planning to book my flight for October. What dates are you going to be there?

Cillaliz - thanks for the tip!  I'm planning Monday, October 2-Sunday, October 8.  My conference at the Foundation Center is Friday and Saturday of that week (not in Atlanta this year!).  It's just a daytime thing, so evenings will be free even when I'm "working."

I got curious to see if the hotel rates were dropping, so checked the Comfort Inn (where I already have a reservation).  They've gone UP!

Is someone confusing DEATH BY PRADA with DEATH BE NOT PRADA, I wonder?

I have my reservation already - good thing.  I'm thinking I'll just go from Wednesday to Sunday.

DH Richard just called from Nashotah House in Wisconsin.  He must really be out in the boonies, because the cell phone kept breaking up.

Tomorrow, my friend Suellyn and I are going to see the Prairie Home Companion movie.  We really had to scour the tristate to find someplace still showing it!

We (Anthony and me) are back in New York City. We had a wonderful time in/on Long Island but tomorrow I must return to the office.

We slept late and ate good food and saw friends and talked and laughed and played with the dog!

I am all caught up on notes, now I need to catch up on posts.

It's 10:12pm on Sunday evening and I'm about to go to bed. I will see you all tomorrow.

P.S., no pictures were taken the entire time Anthony and I were away so no pictures will be posted although some pictures from the production of Beauty and the Beast may find their way to this here site.

Hello and Goodbye to Ginny and Cil :-)

That's a great fare!  I need to wait until Richard gets back and decompresses from his trip this week before pinning him down about October!

Plus all the fees adds another $40-50, but still a great fare. Couldn't pass it up

I just took a two hour nap.  We old people do that a lot.

I really wish I could come to New York in October.  The other day I realized that I have never been to Ground Zero, and soon it won't even be Ground Zero any longer.

Also, people who have recently had major anesthesia, DR TCB!  I don't have that excuse, but I, too, fell asleep on the couch earlier and never made it to the grocery.

Well I tried the trivia and have to give up. I am glad some people got it. But I just couldn't grasp it.

I almost just wrote to get a frenzy going, but I know what kind of dirty minds some people (A SS reference) at this site have!
