I was supposed to be off from work at 2 but they have asked me to stay and help out during the afternoon shift.  More $ for TPunk.

Molly and her cat will be on the way to seattle in about two and half hours.

She came to visit for about an hour ... and I don't know when I will see her again...although she promises a visit in January.

Hoping that she will be home to stay BEFORE then....time will tell.

FJL-Nice review.  As far as I know the Oregonian is a good paper, but then I don’t read it on a regular basis.

The OREGONIAN is indeed the most major newspaper in the Portland metro area.

Congrats on the new role JRand55! It has been awhile since you were ON stage instead of off/behind!

And sorry Molly is still leaving...sometimes people just have to learn from their mistakes. Let us hope the lesson is not too harsh for her.

In Juneau we went on one of the best hikes we have ever gone on.  It was a beautiful day, the scenery gorgeous and the guide fun & knowledgeable.  The group was moving at a nice pace & sense no one was in a rush to return we had an extra long hike.

Thanks George, Jane, & MBarnum for the info on the Oregonian.

Hopefully that'll translate into  good attendance for Herringbone, even thought it's over the bridge in Vancouver, WA.

This was taken at the end of our hike, almost at Mendenhall Glacier.

Of course, there was also the editing of The Carol Burnett Show into half-hour chunks, which somehow never felt right.  I had to stop watching after four or five syndicated half-hour episodes.

Of course, that was done to eliminate the music sequences so fewer royalties would have to be paid. Or at least, that's what I always believed was the reason her hour shows were whittled down to half hours.

Very happy about your news, DR JRand. Is the sheriff the role you wanted or did you have something else in mind? Sometimes I'm surprised what parts directors see for me that I had no thought of going for. I got cast as Beverly Carlton in THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER when I was going for the father role. Hadn't even dawned on me to audition for Beverly.

I had lots of MEDIUM this afternoon. First, I watched last night's rerun, the disturbing one concerning a serial killer and mutilator of women. Didn't remember the ending and it came as a big surprise.
