Well, you've read the notes, today's title might just take the prize as the longest notes title ever, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're in West Hollywood right now.

My Father at his 100th Birthday celebration today.
He has some short term memory loss but is ambulant and on no medication.

Three of my Father's Great grandchildren were there today as well - Alexander, Thomas and James.

The surprise guest and entertainer was ventriloquist Ron Blaskett with his "Gerry Gee".  Ron is 84.

My Father was a ventriloquist but last "performed" in the 1970's.

DR MusicGuy may well have appeared on the same TV shows as Gerry Gee.

And the word of the day is: SEJANT!
Maurice and another of the party-goers ended up SEJANT in JEST, AN' dared anyone to guess who they were portraying.  (It was the Lion and the Unicorn, from Alice Through the Looking Glass.)

Wow, Vixmom, what a difficult couple of weeks.

You need a vacation.

I saw The Fantasticks last Sunday, August 6th. I think you'll enjoy it.

Good morning, all!  I had a paranormal experence around 2 AM this morning, which was unsettling:  I awoke to a child's voice calling "woo-hoo!" into my ear.  At first I thought I was dreaming and as I relaxed, it happened again.  This spooked me enough to turn on the lights.  I wondered if I had any sage in the kitchen to burn.  I got up, walked about the apartment, and went back to bed.

In my family's psychic experiences of the past 60 years, hearing voices and howling dogs have been harbingers of death.  Perhaps this "woo-hoo" is my own personal banshee warming up for something?

My sister-in-law Jo Ann called last night to say that my father went to the doctor yesterday because his wrists and ankles are grotesquely swelling, and the doctor, believing it may be heart-related, has referred him to a cardiologist.  The poor man careens from crisis to crisis.

DRvixmom, I am so sorry about your mother's health and your house.

On a much happier note, DR Tomovoz, I love the photos.  Thanks for posting them.

Horrified to read of DR VIXMOM's problems.....whew!  Vibes for them to be all sorted out SOON.

Lovely pics from DR LAURA.....nice detail on the restaurant building....were those ALWAYS there?  And who lives in SUCH a house?  I must say the exterior is what we in Indiana might call "busy."

Tomorrow I have to drive to either Sioux Falls or Omaha to the United ticket booth so I can  transfer my free tocket to my nephew.  I'm planning to take the CD I just received from DR Ben and listen to the whole show, rather than the interrupted show I heard on the net.  Looking forward to it

Good morning!

Due to all the rain we had last night, it was much cooler this morning, but it's supposed to heat up by afternoon and be a sauna. Ugh!
