I opted for vanilla bean cheese cake. It was good

I decided that cheesecake for one was a waste of money.  So, I had a graham cracker with frosting on it and called it cake.

Well it's not a piece of cake in this house.  And we're not putting it together bit by bit.  The reverse in fact.
DP Colin had his stitches removed from what is left of his ear. The biopsy results show that he need smore removed as there art beginnings  malenoma skin cancer there.  He had a melanoma removed from his arm a decade or more ago.
More surgery now before we leave for North America.

Oh Happy We.  Candide seems an appropriate reference on this best of all possible days!

Oh Tomovoz, I am so sorry to read that DP Colin needs to have more of his ear removed.  Please give him my best regards.

At this moment I am listening to "Our Time" - arranged by Larry Moore. "Simply Sondheim - Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles".

Vincent Van White.  I think his painting is improving too. Thanks TCB.

Be careful when you open your mail. You may get an ear full.

Back from Terry Trotter's where I heard his latest take on a Sondheim song - very beautiful.  I have him three more pieces to take a look at.

We are back from the gala benefit preview at books&co at The Greene, greater Dayton's newest shopping/dining/entertainment destination.  The partay was lovely, with performances by many local musicians including one of our favorites - guitarist Jim McCutcheon.  The special event coordinator for the bookstore presented a check for $12,150 to the executive directors of the literacy coalition and the arts consortium.  They were both quite pleased.

The Greene officially opens at 10am tomorrow.  Work crews were still on the job when we left at about 8:45 tonight.  I suspect they will work all night.

Since it is DR TCB's birthday today I thought i would electronically sing him our happy happy birthday song. It is a tradition at hollywood high school.

*sung in a solemn, monotone voice*
Happy birthday, Happy birthday
There is destruction and despair
People dying everywhere
*quick up tempo*
THIS IS YOUR BIRTHDAY SONG,
IT ISNT VERY LONG W00!

happy birthday!
